I had such an amazing time with this family! They are so picture perfect that even a fifteen minute mini session was enough to capture them beautifully. Plus, this caboose in South Carolina never disappoints. This is seriously the most wonderful time of the year!

I started my photography business eleven years ago and this beautiful family has been booking with me ever since. I’ve had the privilege of capturing them a few times as a couple and also as parents. It’s been a huge blessing to catch back up with them over the years to take their photos.
The best part of being a photographer is meeting amazing people who become lifelong friends. This is why I do what I do… to capture special moments like these.
Roy’s first birthday session was the cutest thing I have ever seen! He was so sweet and smiled so much during his photo session which doesn’t surprise me because he is the happiest baby boy ever!
We decided to shoot at McDowell Nature Preserve in Charlotte, NC. It didn’t take long at all to capture his joyful personality because Roy is always ready and a total natural for the camera!
I had the best time photographing this baby boy… I hope you love it as much as we do!

Back in June, I found out about a community of homeless people who are living in tents in the Uptown area of Charlotte. The shelters aren't taking people like they normally would because of the Coronavirus so these people have had to live outside in a field. A friend of mine was collecting donations and we went out on a Saturday afternoon and helped distribute care packages, food, water, & clothes. It was a humbling life-changing experience to be out there.
I met some wonderful people that day. They are still out there and very much in need of help. It is 100 degrees out here some days and they're living outside with no shade or any of the things we usually take for granted. I took my camera with me that day to document in hopes that they will get more help with awareness of what's going on. If you are interested in helping, please let me know. They are some of the nicest, and most appreciative people I have ever met.

I had an amazing time getting to know Anna and Damian and capturing their love story. Not sure if you can tell, but it was like 10 degrees in the windy city! We were freezing but still made a great day of it and I’m super impressed with each photo. I am looking forward to their August Wedding.
It was such a pleasure walking around Navy Pier with these two love birds. Their love is strong and shows effortlessly with each picture. I cannot wait for their April wedding! Cheers to the soon-to-be bride and groom!
