This sweet couple booked me to photograph their wedding which will take place at the Stan Mansion in the Fall. We got to know each other and got them comfortable for the camera throughout this engagement session around Halloween last year. I am impressed at how photogenic they are and how easy it was to capture their love for each other. I can’t wait for their big day!

Emma and Demetrice were married on a gorgeous and very hot summer day in Oak Park, IL. Their wedding was on the grounds of a historic home called the Burton H. Hales Mansion. It was full of greenery and so much history. One thing you can see through these photos is how much they love each other.

Araceli and Pedro were married at this charming vintage 1940’s barn in Burlington, IL. I don’t think this wedding could have been anymore perfect and I’m so grateful to have been a part of their day. I especially loved how fun and festive their reception was. A live band and fun traditional games like “La vibora de la mar” which you can see in the photos in this blog.

I had the great opportunity to travel to Peoria, Illinois to photograph Abi’s dia de los muertos themed Quince. Every detail was perfection and her family’s efforts to make this quincianera amazing were not in vain. This was an event that dreams are made of!

All I can say is this was one of the funnest weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of shooting. Maura and MJ are the coolest people ever. I truly felt like I was a long time friend shooting their special day!
